Seet\u00f5ttu muutub \u00fcha olulisemaks t\u00e4pselt hinnata, kui palju p\u00e4ikesekiirgust tegelikult maapinnani j\u00f5uab. P\u00e4ikesekiirguse t\u00e4psed hinnangud aitavad p\u00e4ikeseparkide operaatoritel j\u00e4lgida elektritootmist, tuvastada rikkeid ja teha paremaid otsuseid energiaplaneerimisel. Samas ei ole v\u00f5imalik m\u00f5\u00f5ta p\u00e4ikesekiirgust k\u00f5ikjal \u00fcksnes maapealsete m\u00f5\u00f5teseadmete abil.<br><br>V\u00e4ljakutse seisneb maapinnani j\u00f5udva p\u00e4ikesekiirguse (<em>Surface Solar Irradiance<\/em>, SSI) hindamises. Kuigi \u00fcksikutes ilmajaamades saab SSI-d m\u00f5\u00f5ta suure t\u00e4psusega, on selle pidev hindamine kogu riigi ulatuses m\u00e4rksa keerulisem \u00fclesanne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">STACCi andmeteadlane Gordei Prib\u00f5tkin uuris seda probleemi oma Tartu \u00dclikooli magistrit\u00f6\u00f6s, mida juhendasid Piia Post (PhD) ja Velle Toll (PhD). Uurimist\u00f6\u00f6 eesm\u00e4rk oli v\u00e4lja selgitada, kas Euroopa uue p\u00f5lvkonna ilmasatelliidid, mis pakuvad m\u00e4rkimisv\u00e4\u00e4rselt k\u00f5rgemat ruumilist lahutusv\u00f5imet, v\u00f5imaldavad parandada masin\u00f5ppel p\u00f5hinevaid p\u00e4ikesekiirguse hinnanguid Eestis. T\u00f6\u00f6 p\u00f5hjal valminud teadusartikkel on hetkel ajakirjas <em>Solar Energy<\/em> eelretsenseerimisel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Maapealsed m\u00f5\u00f5tmised on t\u00e4psed, kuid m\u00f5\u00f5tepunkte on v\u00e4he<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P\u00e4ikesekiirguse m\u00f5\u00f5tmise etalonseade on meteoroloogiajaamades kasutatav p\u00fcranomeeter. Selle m\u00f5\u00f5tmised on t\u00e4psed, kuid iga seade kirjeldab ainult \u00fcht kindlat asukohta. K\u00e4esolevas uuringus kasutati v\u00f5rdlusandmetena kaheksa Eesti meteoroloogiajaama m\u00f5\u00f5tmisi, mida on kogu riigi ulatuses p\u00e4ikesekiirguse iseloomustamiseks siiski liiga v\u00e4he (vt joonis 1). M\u00f5ned jaamad on kujutatud kahe punktiga, sest vaatluste perioodil muutus nende asukoht.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Olemasolevad satelliidiandmestikud on ruumiliselt ja ajaliselt liiga j\u00e4meda lahutusv\u00f5imega<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Euroopas laialdaselt kasutatavad satelliitkaugseirel p\u00f5hinevad p\u00e4ikesekiirguse andmestikud, n\u00e4iteks SARAH-3 ja CAMS, tuginevad satelliidivaatlustele ja f\u00fc\u00fcsikalistele mudelitele. Need on p\u00f5hjalikult valideeritud ja laialdaselt kasutusel, kuid nende ruumiline ja ajaline lahutusv\u00f5ime seab piiranguid kohalikele rakendustele. SARAH-3 annab hinnanguid ligikaudu 5,6 km suurusel v\u00f5rgustikul ja CAMS umbes 11 km v\u00f5rgustikul. Ajaline lahutusv\u00f5ime on vastavalt 30 ja 15 minutit. Selline detailsus sobib h\u00e4sti klimatoloogilisteks uuringuteks, kuid pole piisavalt detailne, et kirjeldada tingimusi \u00fcksikus p\u00e4ikesepargis kindlal p\u00e4rastl\u00f5unal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meteosat Third Generation pakub m\u00e4rksa detailsemat vaadet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hiljuti kasutusele v\u00f5etud Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) satelliidid on varustatud Flexible Combined Imageri (FCI) instrumendiga, mis v\u00f5imaldab saada umbes 0,5\u20131 km ruumilise lahutusv\u00f5imega satelliidipilte. See on m\u00e4rkimisv\u00e4\u00e4rne edasiminek v\u00f5rreldes eelmise p\u00f5lvkonna Meteosat Second Generation (MSG) satelliitide ja nende SEVIRI instrumendiga, mille ruumiline lahutusv\u00f5ime on 1\u20133 km. Lisaks pakub FCI ka suuremat spektraalset lahutusv\u00f5imet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sellel t\u00e4iustusel on selge f\u00fc\u00fcsikaline p\u00f5hjus. Suurem ruumiline lahutusv\u00f5ime v\u00f5imaldab satelliidil eristada v\u00e4iksemaid pilvestruktuure ning just pilved p\u00f5hjustavad maapinnani j\u00f5udva p\u00e4ikesekiirguse l\u00fchiajalist muutlikkust k\u00f5ige enam. Seet\u00f5ttu peaks detailsem pilveinfo v\u00f5imaldama p\u00f5him\u00f5tteliselt ka t\u00e4psemaid hinnanguid p\u00e4ikesekiirgusele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Suurim piirang on aga andmete k\u00e4ttesaadavus. Katsete tegemise ajal oli MTG andmeid olemas vaid ligikaudu \u00fche aasta jagu, samas kui MSG pakub mitme aasta pikkust andmearhiivi. Pildid on illustratiivsed.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mitme haruga konvolutsiooniline n\u00e4rviv\u00f5rk \u00fchendab m\u00f5lema satelliidip\u00f5lvkonna eelised<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selle asemel, et valida \u00fche v\u00f5i teise satelliidip\u00f5lvkonna vahel, \u00fchendab mudel m\u00f5lema tugevused. Tegemist on mitut satelliidiandurit ja mitut ruumilist lahutusv\u00f5imet kasutava konvolutsioonilise n\u00e4rviv\u00f5rguga (CNN), mis koostab Eesti eri asukohtade jaoks SSI hinnanguid 10-minutilise ajasammuga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iga meteoroloogiajaama jaoks eraldab mudel satelliidipiltidelt selle asukoha \u00fcmber paiknevad pildil\u00f5igud. Iga pildit\u00fc\u00fcpi t\u00f6\u00f6deldakse n\u00e4rviv\u00f5rgu eraldi harus: SEVIRI 3 km ja 1 km lahutusv\u00f5imega piltidel on kumbki oma haru ning FCI 1 km ja 0,5 km lahutusv\u00f5imega piltidel samuti oma haru. Iga haru koosneb v\u00e4ikesest konvolutsioonilisest n\u00e4rviv\u00f5rgust, mis \u00f5pib sisendandmetest v\u00e4lja v\u00f5tma olulised tunnused. Seej\u00e4rel \u00fchendatakse harude v\u00e4ljundid arvuliste sisendandmetega (p\u00e4ikese asend, kellaaeg, aastaaeg, geograafiline asukoht ning selge taeva tingimustele vastav p\u00e4ikesekiirguse v\u00f5rdlusv\u00e4\u00e4rtus) ja suunatakse v\u00f5rgu viimastesse kihtidesse, et hinnata p\u00e4ikesekiirgust konkreetses asukohas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">M\u00f5lema satelliidip\u00f5lvkonna andmed \u00fchendatakse h\u00fcbriidse treenimisprotseduuri abil. Esmalt treenitakse SEVIRI harusid viie aasta MSG andmete p\u00f5hjal, et kujundada stabiilne andmeesitus. Seej\u00e4rel need harud k\u00fclmutatakse ning FCI harusid treenitakse olemasoleva \u00fche aasta pikkuse MTG andmestiku p\u00f5hjal. Nii s\u00e4ilib pikema MSG andmearhiivi pakutav teave, samal ajal kui mudel saab kasutada ka MTG k\u00f5rgema ruumilise lahutusv\u00f5ime eeliseid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mudeli toimivust hinnati kaheksa meteoroloogiajaama p\u00f5hjal tehtud ristvalideerimisega ning katseid korrati mitme s\u00f5ltumatu treenimiskorraga. FC, X t\u00e4histab t\u00e4ielikult \u00fchendatud kihti (fully connected layer), mille v\u00e4ljundi suurus on X.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">K\u00f5rgem ruumiline lahutusv\u00f5ime aitab enim pilvise ilmaga<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tulemused n\u00e4itavad, et suuremast ruumilisest lahutusv\u00f5imest on k\u00f5ige rohkem kasu pilvistes tingimustes, kus p\u00e4ikesekiirguse hindamine on k\u00f5ige keerulisem. V\u00f5rreldes ainult MSG andmeid kasutava mudeliga v\u00e4hendas h\u00fcbriidne MSG+MTG mudel ruutkeskmist viga (RMSE) keskmiselt ligikaudu 4,9 W\/m\u00b2 ning vastavalt 8,2 W\/m\u00b2 lauspilvise ja 5,7 W\/m\u00b2 pilvise taeva korral (vt joonis 4). See t\u00e4hendab, et ruutkeskmine viga v\u00e4henes keskmiselt ligikaudu 6%, pilvise ilma korral koguni 15% ning lauspilvise taeva korral 6%. Selge v\u00f5i v\u00e4hese pilvisusega ilmaga, kus pilvede m\u00f5ju on v\u00e4iksem, ei andnud k\u00f5rgem ruumiline lahutusv\u00f5ime statistiliselt olulist erinevust. V\u00e4iksem v\u00e4\u00e4rtus n\u00e4itab h\u00fcbriidmudeli paremat tulemust v\u00f5rreldes ainult SEVIRI andmeid kasutava mudeliga (ristvalideerimise kordade keskmine \u00b1 standard error of the mean; juhuslikud algv\u00e4\u00e4rtused keskmistatud iga ristvalideerimise korra sees).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">F\u00fc\u00fcsikap\u00f5hise v\u00f5rdlusmudeliga v\u00f5rreldes on mudel pilvise ilmaga t\u00e4psem<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">V\u00f5rreldes f\u00fc\u00fcsikap\u00f5hise SARAH-3 tootega saavutas h\u00fcbriidmudel oskusskooriks ligikaudu 35% lauspilvise, 21% pilvise ning 20% k\u00f5igi tingimuste l\u00f5ikes. Need tulemused n\u00e4itavad vea m\u00e4rkimisv\u00e4\u00e4rset v\u00e4henemist just muutliku pilvisusega olukordades, mis on p\u00e4ikeseenergia tootmise seisukohalt k\u00f5ige olulisemad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selge taeva tingimused on endiselt v\u00e4ljakutse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selge taeva korral olid tulemused tagasihoidlikumad. Nendes tingimustes j\u00e4i masin\u00f5ppemudelite tulemus SARAH-3 omale ligikaudu 38% alla ning mudelite j\u00f5udlus varieerus eri treenimiskordade vahel rohkem. Anal\u00fc\u00fcs n\u00e4itab, et suurem osa sellest erinevusest tuleneb s\u00fcstemaatilisest nihkest, mitte juhuslikust veast. T\u00f5en\u00e4oliselt on selle p\u00f5hjuseks m\u00f5\u00f5tekohtade erinev pinnapeegeldus (albeedo), mida s\u00fcvendab asjaolu, et t\u00e4ielikult selge taevaga vaatlusi oli andmestikus v\u00e4ga v\u00e4he \u2013 ligikaudu 4% k\u00f5igist n\u00e4idetest. Ainu\u00fcksi k\u00f5rgem ruumiline lahutusv\u00f5ime seda probleemi ei lahenda ning see j\u00e4\u00e4b masin\u00f5ppel p\u00f5hineva p\u00e4ikesekiirguse hindamise puhul \u00fcheks oluliseks edasiseks uurimissuunaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kokkuv\u00f5te ja edasised suunad<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tulemused n\u00e4itavad, et j\u00e4rgmise p\u00f5lvkonna satelliidipiltide ja masin\u00f5ppe kombineerimine v\u00f5imaldab hinnata maapinnani j\u00f5udvat p\u00e4ikesekiirgust tegelikes tingimustes senisest t\u00e4psemalt. Eesti oludes v\u00f5imaldab uuring teha \u00fche selge j\u00e4relduse. J\u00e4rgmise p\u00f5lvkonna MTG\/FCI satelliidipildid parandavad s\u00fcva\u00f5ppel p\u00f5hinevat SSI hindamist eelk\u00f5ige siis, kui peamine muutlikkuse allikas on pilvisus. K\u00f5rgema ruumilise lahutusv\u00f5imega piltide \u00fchendamine pikema MSG andmearhiiviga h\u00fcbriidse mudeli abil on seejuures t\u00f5hus viis nende eeliste rakendamiseks. Ainu\u00fcksi suuremast ruumilisest lahutusv\u00f5imest aga selge taeva tingimustes ei piisa ning see vajab edasist uurimist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uuringul on kaks peamist piirangut: anal\u00fc\u00fcs h\u00f5lmas v\u00e4ikest geograafilist piirkonda ning p\u00f5hines vaid \u00fche aasta MTG andmetel. Seet\u00f5ttu viidi ka tulemuste valideerimine l\u00e4bi neid piiranguid arvestades. Kui MTG andmearhiiv pikeneb ja l\u00e4henemist rakendatakse suuremates piirkondades, v\u00f5iks mudelit kohandada ka p\u00e4ikesekiirguse prognoosimiseks, mitte \u00fcksnes selle hetkev\u00e4\u00e4rtuse hindamiseks. Sellest oleks otsest kasu elektriv\u00f5rgu optimeerimisel ja taastuvenergia kauplemisel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kuigi see uuring keskendub maapinnani j\u00f5udva p\u00e4ikesekiirguse hindamisele, on selle aluseks olev l\u00e4henemine \u2013 Maa seireandmete ja masin\u00f5ppe \u00fchendamine \u2013 rakendatav m\u00e4rksa laiemalt energiavaldkonnas. STACCis kasutatakse sarnaseid meetodeid praktiliste probleemide lahendamiseks, kus t\u00e4psed prognoosid ja andmep\u00f5hine otsustamine aitavad luua reaalset \u00e4rilist v\u00e4\u00e4rtust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Selles blogipostituses esitatud arvulised tulemused \u2013 RMSE v\u00e4henemine, oskusskoorid ning selge taeva tingimuste tulemused \u2013 p\u00e4rinevad Gordei Prib\u00f5tkini, Piia Posti ja Velle Tolli teadusartiklist, mis on avaldatud <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/2607.28093\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>arXiv-i eeltr\u00fckina<\/em><\/a><em>.
