Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at STACC, you have the ownership to design, build and maintain the data infrastructure that feeds ML and AI analytics.

What you’ll do

As a Data Engineer, you’ll:

develop and maintain Web APIs in Python;
develop back-end codebases and scripts for data manipulation;
package and containerize applications for scalability;
perform code reviews and quality assurance;
participate in teamwork and deliver high-quality code in a timely manner;
help define standards and guidelines for other developers;
research and introduce additions to our wide tech stack.

What we’re looking for

You’re a great fit if you:

have at least a Bachelor’s degree (or expect to graduate by spring) or a minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in Python;
communicate well in both Estonian and English;
have experience with technologies like databases, Docker, Linux, IDEs, and version control systems;
are familiar with QA practices like unit testing;
are flexible to adapt to diverse projects;
have experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or cloud services (not mandatory, but it is an advantage);
are ready to work full-time in Tartu.
