As a data engineer at STACC, you have the ownership to design, build and maintain the data infrastructure that feeds ML and AI analytics.

Your daily activities can include building RESTful APIs in Python (Flask, Django), building and scaling services in the cloud environment (Docker, AWS), orchestrating ML workflows (Apache Airflow), automating infrastructure deployment and administration (Terraform, Ansible), managing databases (Postgres, MongoDB), etc.

Daily tasks:

  • Develop and maintain Web APIs in Python
  • Develop back-end codebase and scripts for data manipulation
  • Package and containerize applications
  • Perform code reviews and quality assurance
  • Participate in teamwork and deliver high-quality code in a timely manner
  • Help define standards and guidelines for other developers
  • Research and introduce additions to our wide tech stack

Your skills, experience, and mindset:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in Python
  • Experience with some of the following technologies: databases, Docker, Linux, IDEs, version control systems
  • Experience with some QA practices like unit tests
  • Flexibility to work on different projects
  • Bonus points for experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or cloud services
  • Fluent in English
