Our researchers Irene Teinemaa and Karl-Oskar Masing promoted programming during the Computer Science Education Week by giving programming lessons to more than 250 pupils from 2nd to 11th grade in Tartu Hansa Kool, Miina Härma Gymnasium, and Hugo Treffner Gymnasium. This was part of the international Hour of Code movement (https://code.org/) which aims to encourage people to learn computer science. We hope that the taught students will continue studying and contribute to the Estonian technological success stories in the years to come.
